Have you ever fallen in love with a color? Whether it’s a captivating violet from a floral bouquet or that perfect red lipstick, a beautiful shade is something you want to capture.

I was privileged to work with Three Custom Color to review some of their products and provide a giveaway to Bellabusta readers.  What makes this company unique is that they create custom-blended cosmetics to match your specifications. For example, if your favorite cosmetic shade is discontinued, they can make you a new one that is an exact match. Another option is to send in any kind of color sample - from a photo, a paint chip, even a blend of two colors – and they can create a custom eye color, lip color, blush or powder from it.

In honor of the upcoming Chanuka, I decided to try out some Three Custom Color makeup that matched the holiday’s beloved culinary traditions. I chose the rich brown of chocolate Chanuka gelt and the crimson of a jelly doughnut filling – scrumptious treats AND beautiful cosmetic colors, too! I ordered a deep brown eyeshadow and a merlot lip and cheek stain from Three Custom Color and took some photos of them juxtaposed with their color-matching Chanuka counterparts.

The merlot lip and cheek stain applies as a sheer wash of bright pink color. The brown eyeshadow is smooth and richly pigmented. Both products come in a pretty compact with a mirror inside.
