Knockout Color Combos for Fall (+ Styling Tips!)

The Pantone Fashion Color Report puts together the most popular colors in fashion that designers are using. These rich shades are where we are headed for fall, and you’re likely to be seeing many of them every time you shop.
Not only are these colors stunning, they also synchronize beautifully. I fashioned 3 different fall outfits based on two coordinating colors from Pantone’s picks.
Combo #1 - coffee liqueúr & nougat
These subdued colors combine in a thoroughly modern way. For the ultimate sophistication, pair them with warm autumnal accents such as bordeaux and evergreen.
Combo #2 - emberglow & honeysuckle
Honeysuckle was named Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2011 and has been showing up in everything from clothes to lipstick and nail polish. It is a real powerhouse when paired up with emberglow (a coral shade). Although I’ve been seeing this orange/pink combo on the runways and on style setters a lot recently, I don’t think the common woman is looking to go all out on this look. Instead, why not try wearing just one of these colors and incorporate the second color in accessories? Here, the honeysuckle shirt is toned down with a neutral denim skirt, and the emberglow accessories add an unexpected pop of color
Combo #3 - bamboo & deep teal
Contrasting primary colors, such as blue and yellow, makes a great style statement. The bamboo shoes set off this deep teal dress to a gorgeous advantage. A brown leather cross-body bag and feathered hair extensions give this outfit a bohemian flair.
Which of these Pantone fall shades would you pair together?
