The Pantone Fashion Color Report puts together the most popular colors in fashion that designers are using. These rich shades are where we are headed for fall, and you’re likely to be seeing many of them every time you shop.
Not only are these colors stunning, they also synchronize beautifully. I fashioned 3 different fall outfits based on two coordinating colors from Pantone’s picks.
Combo #1 - coffee liqueúr & nougat
These subdued colors combine in a thoroughly modern way. For the ultimate sophistication, pair them with warm autumnal accents such as bordeaux and evergreen.

As you may know, I am very passionate about color.(see: Lighten Up-Dressy Dresses that Are Not Black) Wearing the right color can make a dramatic difference in the way you look - the closer to your face the color is, the more it should complement your skin tone. In that case, what’s more important than what you put on your head? Let’s have a look at some scarves, headbands and hats that will play off your natural coloring!

I went to a wedding last night and was inspired by a woman in pink. She was dressed in a shade that I can only call bubblegum because of its sheer brightness. She looked absolutely gorgeous. The pink did wonders for her cool skin tone, bringing out a rosy glow and contrasting marvelously with her shiny black hair.
Too many women, myself included, feel very comfortable slipping into their go-to black dress for weddings and other special events. Consequently, every wedding is a sea of colorlessness! Black can be so very drab, so let’s take it upon ourselves to try to dress ourselves in some color more often. It takes some effort but when you find the right color, you’ll be glad you tried!
